One of the first things the client told me, in his brief for the new logo design, was that he did not want cartoonish bugs incorporated into the logo, this was one of his pet hates with logo’s for his industry. We created a number of alternative designs without bugs, trying to focus on icon images of Broken Hill, but of cause being a pest control business, I kept coming back to providing a logo with a bug included & I guess I saw it as a challenge to change their minds & as you can see, we came up with a design incorporating a bug which is both modern & stylish & in no way cartoonish & that’s the one they choose for their new corporate logo.
